Project Summary
At HROS, we recognized the shortcomings of traditional job search methods and set out to redefine the experience through innovative, personalized job searching. Our solution leverages advanced personality-based algorithms to match job seekers with roles that align not only with their skills but also with their unique traits and preferences.
What are the problems?
The job search process lacked personalization, often leading to mismatches between candidates and roles. Companies struggled to find candidates aligned with their culture and needs, while job seekers faced inefficient searches.
Approach & Design Process
To address the inefficiencies in the job search process, we began by conducting extensive research into user pain points, revealing that job seekers struggled to find roles aligned with their skills and personality. Using this insight, we developed a personality-based matching system inspired by dating apps, focusing on aligning candidates with roles that fit their traits and company culture. Through wireframing and iterative testing, we refined the user flow to ensure a smooth experience, enabling personalized job recommendations and improving recruitment efficiency for companies.
Highlights
The HROS project exemplifies my expertise in leading the design of complex, user-centric platforms from inception to launch. By employing a rigorous user-centered design process, we successfully transformed a conventional job search experience into an engaging and efficient process that resonates with modern job seekers. Looking forward, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of digital product design to create impactful solutions that meet user needs and exceed client expectations.
Key Metrics
Design Guide
The modular design system for this project allowed for faster updates and easier maintenance as the product scaled by creating reusable components such as buttons, input fields, and layouts. Each component was standardized, ensuring that design changes could be made centrally and applied across the platform, reducing the need for redesigns from scratch.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the HROS redesign project significantly improved user experience and engagement. By simplifying the onboarding process through automated CV extraction, users are now able to interact with relevant job recommendations more quickly, enhancing overall satisfaction. The checklist-based design nudges users to complete their profiles at a comfortable pace, increasing completion rates. Combined with the enhanced job details page for faster applications, these changes have streamlined the entire process, positioning the platform as more user-centric and effective for career development.
